Business Advantage PNG investment conference highlights PNG’s next chapter of opportunity

PRIME Minister James Marape has confirmed his attendance at the 14th Business Advantage Papua New Guinea Investment Conference, headlining what promises to be a stellar programme.
Business leaders, investors, government representatives and industry experts will gather in Brisbane on Aug 10–11, 2026 as Papua New Guinea enters a pivotal period of economic growth and investment.
Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the annual conference provides a key platform for organisations looking to better understand Papua New Guinea’s economic outlook, investment opportunities and the evolving business landscape.
The conference comes at an important time for PNG, with renewed optimism around major projects including the Papua LNG development, improving foreign exchange availability, stronger economic growth and increasing digital connectivity supporting business confidence.
The two-day programme, curated by the editorial team behind Business Advantage PNG, the 2026 programme features sessions on investment trends, venture capital and capital markets, infrastructure development, and the natural resources sector. A dedicated session will also examine opportunities across neighbouring Pacific markets, including Fiji and the Solomon Islands.
