Miner proud to be taking part in conference

Ok Tedi Mining Limited was proud to participate in the 2026 Community Affairs & National Content Conference (CANCONEX) at APEC Haus, Port Moresby, from July 13 to15.
Together with its subsidiary, the Ok Tedi Development Foundation (OTDF), they showcased the impact of their community development programmes and their commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for Western Province and Papua New Guineas.On Monday, July 13, its manager economic programmes, Steve Hoap, presented on Ok Tedi’s increasing investments in landowner businesses, highlighting how local enterprises were progressively taking on critical operational functions across its business and creating long-term economic opportunities for our communities.
On Tuesday, July 14, manager health services, Raymond Singamis, was expected to share insights into Ok Tedi’s investments in community health, focusing on the delivery of essential healthcare services and initiatives that address key health challenges across project communities.The company on Tuesday, invited attendees to visit the Ok Tedi and OTDF booth to learn more about how they were working with their communities to drive sustainable development, strengthen national content, and create lasting value beyond mining.
