NS 9's Rigo Coast Cup differed.

The NS Rigo Coast 9's Cup grand final has been differed to next week Saturday, 23rd May 2026. This announcement was made by the tournament officials as a directive from major sponsor and Nelson Lawyers principle lawyer, Mr. Nelson Saroa, who increased the prize money for the three categories, Cup, Plate, and Bowl.

The tournament has attracted 24 teams within Central Province, all battling it out for the initial K5,000 Cup prize, and after a four day tournament, with granfinals set for this Saturday, the officials have decided to postpone the finals so that the game venue needs to be properly prepared, give ample time for the six teams to prepare for the finals and the major sponsor to properly organize with the officials and his dignitaries.

The following is the schedule and the prize money allocated for each category.

Cup- K10,000

Gereka Sharks vs. Gigira Tumbuna of Kido

Plate-K5, 000

Bona Sharks vs. Saroa Raiders

Bowl- K3, 000

Gunugau D.M.A Bulldogs vs. Bogama Bay Sea Eagles

NS 9'S Rigo Coast Cup President Kekebogi Kekebogi acknowledeg all six teams with their management, supporters, and players for their confidence and patience in the organizing team and the major sponsor.
