PNG OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Papua New Guinea has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening trade, investment, and economic partnerships with Europe during the 5th EU-PNG Business Forum in Port Moresby.

Speaking at the opening plenary, Minister for National Planning Hon. Sir Ano Pala highlighted the Government’s vision to grow the economy to K200 billion and create one million jobs by 2030 through strategic investments, infrastructure development, value-added agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and private sector partnerships.

The Minister encouraged European investors to explore the vast opportunities available in PNG and emphasized the Government’s commitment to providing a stable, transparent, and business-friendly environment.

“PNG is open for business, and we are ready to diversify together and strengthen relationships for another 50 years and beyond.”
